If you’re a parent, grandparent or guardian who wants to socialize with your little ones and learn to skate too, try our Farmington Family Skate Meetups. Our goal is to help every family learn to enjoy safe roller skating and make new friends. Masks required.
Saturday 10am to 12noon at Bonaventure in Farmington Hills includes skates, skate trainer, a little snack, video screen, young kid friendly music and learn to skate games like Limbo, Wipeout, Chicken Dance and Hokey Pokey. No push toys are allowed at this session, but parents can push strollers on the skating surface. A USA Roller Sports skating instructor and young TeamSk8.com competitors can help those who need it.
There are 3 ways to learn with TeamSk8 with our rinks open:
1. MONDAY evening at Rollerama in Brighton, MI – Beginner Star Program Class drops in from 5:30-6:15pm (sign up in advance or 15 minutes early at the rink office) Masks required.
2. SATURDAY morning at Bonaventure in Farmington Hills, MI – Family Sk8 Adventure 10am-12noon only for parents and guardians with toddlers and young children. Masks required.
3. SUNDAY morning at Rollerama Advanced Star Program Class drops in from 11am-12noon (sign up at least 1 day in advance at the rink office) Masks required.
We will dress up for Family Sk8 Adventure on Halloween, Saturday the 31st.
