De qué se trata
Climbing the career ladder is a lot of work, with the ever changing workplace and job expectations in the 21st century, it is crucial for young professionals to be adaptable and develop desirable soft skills to succeed in the workplace (from public speaking to conflict management, leadership and networking.).
How successful you are in your career is no longer just based on WHAT you know, but on WHO you know. You can be the best in your field (Accountant, Lawyer, Sales rep, Biochemist, Teacher, Nurse, Engineer, Program coordinator, Data analyst etc...), but if nobody knows who you are, your dedication and quality of work, you'll constantly find yourself being overlooked for promotions and opportunities.
The good news is you're not alone! There are countless resources out there from networking events to free/affordable workshops on public speaking, and what's more encouraging is there are others who are interested in meeting with one another to share ideas, experiences and supporting one another to succeed. Whether you are recently out of school or years into your career and looking to advance, this group is for you. Come and Meet other professionals, build your network, develop your professionalism and learn from those who have the results you want.
Unlike other groups/organizations has a hidden agenda or recruiting people to their network marketing organization, Career Success Cafe is an independent meetup.
Experience is a good teacher but comes at a cost of TIME and OPPORTUNITIES, but next best is other people's experiences! Let us come and share with one another ideas, experiences, aspirations and succeed together!

Some say Vancouver can be a solitary place, but we're here to change that narrative. 🌟 Join us for an evening of community connection, delicious food, and vibrant networking as we come together to celebrate the spirit of springtime in the Lower Mainland.
Why come out?
- connection with others; it is no lie that Vancouver is one of the lonliest, most transient and cosmopolitan cities in the entire world. People are always coming, and always going. To keep up with this, you need to actively network and forge connections, or at least step out of your comfort zone from time to time and make sure you still got it and work your social neurons. We call it a "mixer" for a reason! 😎
To be a little specific, though, you can anticipate:
- kind and open-minded people who love to meet new friends and build meaningful connections!
- growth-mindset individuals that are enthusiastic about self-improvment
- community change-makers in their respective social spheres
- film industry professionals
- etrepreneurs, both budding or well-established
- bitcoin enthusiasts
- investors both in financial markets and/or hard assests
- highly skilled persons from both white and blue collar industriesEvent Highlights:
