Technical Dive into Nervos and SKALE Networks

Details

Silicon Valley Ethereum is very happy to host Nervos [1] and SKALE Network [2]. We will be happy to see everyone again virtually.

NOTE: PLEASE REGISTER on Crowdcast - event will be hosted there (https://www.crowdcast.io/e/layered-conversations-with-skale-and-nervos)

Agenda:

6:00PM - 6:15PM Intro
6:15PM - 6:30 PM Nervos: a layered blockchain network
6:30PM - 6:45 PM SKALE: L2 Architecture & Security Model
6:45PM - 7:15 PM: Panel
7:15 PM - 7:30PM: Q&A

Nervos: a layered blockchain network::

In this talk, we'll cover what makes Nervos different, the design decisions that have gone into it and examine how its virtual machine, programming model and network architecture combine to create a blockchain network ideal for supporting Layer 2 protocols and applications.

Layer 2 solutions can offer increased security, performance, and agility, this is a great opportunity to take a dive deep into a sophisticated and emergent platform in the Ethereum space.

The SKALE Network: L2 Architecture & Security Model::

An in-depth look at the SKALE Network focusing on architecture and some of the key components. Unpacking how these core components enhance security, increase transaction throughput, and accelerate dApp development speed.

Jack will also discuss SKALE’s pooled validation model (featuring random selection and frequent rotation of nodes) along with topics such as validator MainNet staking, performant Layer 2 interactions, interchain messaging using BLS rollups, and virtualized nodes for easy setup, and chain expandability.

If you want to learn about how Layer 2 solutions can offer increased security, performance, and agility, this is a great opportunity to take a deep dive into a sophisticated and emergent platform in the Ethereum space.

This event will be held entirely online; use the link [4] below. As always, the meetup is funded by the Decentralization Foundation [5].
