While learning a new language you can read books, practice on apps, and take courses on your own. But, what you can't do is practice an actual conversation. That's how our Meetup can help us help each other! :)
Bienvenue/Welcome to French Conversation Practice!
We come together as a group of French language learners to practice speaking, listening, and understanding.
We will practice situations like greetings, daily activities, hobbies, culture, family, and special events. By speaking together, we can help each other to gain confidence and improve our fluency of the French language.
We encourage you to contribute in order to help us all to succeed. So, if you know of a great website, podcast or whatever, please share your great finds at one of our meetups. Most importantly, join us and share your presence!
Most of our Meetups will be online, but it is my hope that we can meet up at a local French cafe!

Other ways to Practice:
- Netflix lets you slow down French films & shows on your phone, tablet or computer.
- YouTube also allows you to slow down the speed.
- Try listening to some French music! :D Spotify has the lyrics, so you can sing along.
- Search for French podcasts -- there are many to listen to!
