This is a group organized by FD Photo Studios for anyone interested in photography, modeling, videography, etc. All skills levels are welcome, amateurs and pros, let's learn from each other! FD Photo Studios was created by creatives for creatives, to meet, inspire one another and grow together. We meet about 6-8 times a month, to shoot, network, practice, learn and hang out!

Join us on Saturday, April 25, from 3–6 PM at our FD Photo Studio Hill location for a Photo Mixer. Three beautifully themed studios will be open for photo and video shoots during the event.
Whether you’re a photographer, model, videographer, or content creator, this is a great opportunity to create fresh seasonal content, expand your portfolio, connect with other creatives, and try our photo studios—all at a fraction of the regular studio rental cost.

### Studios Open During the Event

RGB Walls - moody blackout studio with dimmable and RGB light walls, spotlights, and a disco ball.
Moroccan Shower - elegant daylight studio with Moroccan shower, free-standing bathtub, and moving prop wall. Bring a towel if you will use a shower!
Concrete & RGB Walls - studio with Red Phone Booth, motorcycle, rust corner, concrete, and RGB walls.

### Who Can Attend

Open to all creatives: photographers, videographers, models, actors, HMUAs, dancers, brands, stylists, designers, producers, and more. If you’ve been meaning to book studio time or need fresh content, this is the perfect opportunity.

### How It Works

This is a collaborative group mixer. Please share the space respectfully and work together creatively.
Models and photographers are not provided or guaranteed. You may bring your own team or collaborate with other creatives at the event. FD Photo Studio provides the studio space and available lighting equipment only.
By default, attendees may photograph and be photographed unless they choose to opt out. Please always respect personal boundaries.
Any model releases or agreements are handled directly between participants. FD Photo Studio does not manage or mediate individual arrangements.
Please note: everyone entering the studio must have a valid ticket.

Lighting for Portraits Masterclass With Celebrity Photographer Ian Spanier

Join renowned celebrity and fitness photographer Ian Spanier on Saturday, May 2 between 11 am and 2 pm for a hands-on masterclass: “Lighting for Portraits: Everything You Need to Know.” This masterclass is good for beginner and advanced photographers.

In this immersive masterclass, Ian shares the exact lighting techniques he uses on real assignments for clients like Netflix, Los Angeles Times, and City National Bank. You’ll begin with a live demonstration as Ian breaks down how he lights and captures celebrities, athletes, and VIPs.
Then, it’s your turn!

Participants will shoot alongside Ian with professional model and actress Gia Barbs at the stunning Studio with White Cyc Wall, getting real-time guidance and personalized direction throughout.
