SATURDAY APRIL 11TH GROUP BIKE RIDE - Join the Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee (PVTC) at 11:30AM Saturday April 11th at Warbasse Junction, at the border of Sparta & Lafayette, New Jersey. The PVTC, the Officially Recognized Friends Organization of the Kittatinny Valley State Park, will host a moderate bike ride. The length of the ride will be 17 miles, (round trip), unless a majority of the group chooses to ride less or more. The trail is cinder-based which provides easy, level biking. Bring your helmet, lunch, and a drink.
PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. RSVP TO MEETUP ANNOUNCEMENT OR SEE INSTRUCTIONS BELOW.
THIS EVENT IS FREE FOR EVERYONE.
Membership is not required. RSVP by April 10th to the Meetup announcement or to paul_rottmann@hotmail.com or call (973) 887-4332 (landline, so no texting). If no one RSVPs, then the ride may be cancelled.
This bike group pedals at a VERY moderate pace. This event will end when the group returns to the Warbasse parking lot at approximately 4:00 PM. Everyone should be prepared to stay together with the group leader. If you wish to pedal faster or pedal alone, then you should explore this rail trail on your own time. IF YOU CHOOSE TO JOIN THIS GROUP EVENT, THEN YOU MUST STAY TOGETHER WITH THE GROUP AND ITS LEADER.

The Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee (PVTC) is the nonprofit 501c (3) Officially Recognized Friends Group of the Kittatinny Valley State Park.
The Paulinskill Valley Trail (27 miles) and the Sussex Branch Trail (20 miles) are part of Kittatinny Valley State Park. Both trails are multi-use. Hiking, bicycle riding, horseback riding, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing jogging and dog sledding are allowed. All dogs must be on a leash.
Annual membership is $20 for an individual and $30 for a family. Please make checks payable to “Paulinskill Valley Trail Committee” or “PVTC” and mail to PVTC, PO Box 175, Andover, NJ 07821.
DIRECTIONS TO WARBASSE JUNCTION-Route 663, ½ mile south of Route 94 in Lafayette. Take Routes 206 and 94 through Newton and continue north for 2½ miles. At the light, turn right to follow Route 94 North. Continue two miles to Warbasse Junction Road, Route 663 South. Turn right and go ½ mile to a parking lot on the right.
