Philly Freeriders: A Snowboarding and Skiing Group

Kick off the holiday weekend with a backyard Independence Day party at my house in Doylestown—food, drinks, music, and summer hangout vibes.

I’ll have burgers and hot dogs on the grill, and feel free to bring food or drinks to share. Since this is at my house, please keep your RSVP updated so I know how many people to expect.

Please plan ahead and don’t drink and drive—be smart and safe getting home.

Fair weather only — if it rains (forecasted for the entire time) , the rain date will be July 4th. If it rains both days, I'll cancel.

Hey everyone! I found an amazing place in Chile for a ski trip July 19-25. It's perfectly located by all the ski resorts. A review and the map indicates its ski in ski out from valley nevado (ikon). We'll probably be going to Nevado for most of the trip as it's bigger and has more varied terrain. It has a hot tub, heated pool, and sauna. You'd fly into Santiago if you wanna join. It can hold 7 people (8 if a couple takes the king bed). We do need 7 to keep the price at 550 and if we get more there will be a wait-list. Let's ski in July!

Cost: 550pp

Dates July 19-25

Pass: ikon ($94 a day at nevado without Ikon)

Room 1: One bunk bed one twin

Room 2: One bunk bed one twin

Room 3: One king/Queen bed

(If you want the private king bed for one that will be 100 extra and I will deduct some from the others)

Flights: American via Miami to Santiago leaves at 10:45pm and gets in the next day at 9am. So leave on the 18th get there on 19th and drive to the place. Leave on the 25.

Food: It will be a small group so we will make decisions collectively.

Cars: It's 1.5hr from Santiago to El Colorado. As we get closer we will arrange either two cars or one van. That's not included in the current price. I'll use my discount however to get a good deal. I'll have walkie talkies for coordination and to live out my fantasy of being on O.G Top Gear.

This trip is a camping beach trip down in Cape Henlopen State Park, Delaware. At the time of booking, I got the last site which has room for 6 more people to tent camp. It is a typical state park tent camping site with only one vehicle allow at the site (likely mine). There is an overflow lot for additional vehicles. The cost is $20 a person with refunds available up to the event. There is a common bathroom with toilets and shower. Spigot water is available though you maybe want to filter or bring your own water. Also you will need your own food. The site allows for tent camping only and everyone should bring their tent/ sleeping accommodations.

Cape Henlopen is a very nice park located along the Delaware shore. The campground is a short walk from the beach. There are nice trails throughout the park. I plan on bringing my camp kitchen gear, surf board, paddle board, bike and fishing gear(probably will need to purchase permit). Payment secures your spot.

One of the two sites has an exterior outlet which I will bring a power strip for to make electricity accessible to everyone.

The campground is a short walk from the beach, right on the other side of the highway. This is supposed to be one of the better places to surf in Delaware though surfing generally sucks in Delaware.
