Gonzalo Martínez de Azagra - Investor and board member with a deep business/financial training and the ability to understand technology at the engineering level. Currently leading Samsung Group investments in Israel. Investments include: PrimeSense (acq. by Apple), StoreDot, Replay Technologies, Cortica, Giraffic, EarlySense, Rounds, Elastifile, Corephotonics, ScyllaDB and multiple undisclosed Fund of Fund investments.

Yair Shoam - Yair is an investment director focusing on investment opportunities related to Israel. Yair joined Intel Capital in 2012 after more than 13 years as a General Partner with Genesis Partners, one of Israel’s premier venture capital funds, where he focused on communication and consumer products investments. Yair was selected by the Israeli entrepreneurial community and the Israeli High-Tech Association as one of the top five VCs in Israel for the years 2006 through 2009. From 1996 to 2006, Yair was a member of the board of directors of M-Systems, a worldwide pioneer in flash data storage solutions, and was actively involved in the $1.55B sale of the company to SanDisk. Prior to joining Genesis Partners, Yair was a co-founder and managed the business development of two Israeli start-ups, Butterfly Communications (sold to Texas Instruments) and VDOnet (sold to Citrix Systems). Yair began his career practicing securities and corporate law, first in the US, and then in Israel, where he was a partner at Israel’s largest law firm. Yair holds a JD from Loyola University School of Law and a BA from Haifa University.

Merav Rotem Naaman – Merav is a Director at Verizon Ventures and manages their office in Israel. Merav is also the Managing Director of Nautilus, Aol’s early stage investment arm in Israel, which she co-founded in 2014. Merav has over 18 years of experience in the Tech industry, with transactional and strategy roles. Prior to joining Aol in 2014, Merav was Head of Strategy and Operations at Better Place and helped shape strategy and alliances from the very early startup days. Merav started her career as the Head of Regulatory Affairs for Israel’s leading Telco - Cellcom, and then spent a few years at Bain & Co. in The SF Bay Area, advising companies about strategy, business development and M&A. Merav earned her MBA at Harvard Business School and holds a law degree from Tel Aviv University. Merav is based in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Amir Fridman - Mr. Amir Fridman serves as Western Digital Corporate Business Development and Capital investment in Israel and Europe. Previously, Mr. Fridman served as Director of Corporate Business Development at SanDisk Ventures. In addition, Mr. Fridman has served as SanDisk Director of OEM Strategic Marketing. Before joining SanDisk, he was Director of Strategic Marketing and Product Management at M-Systems Mobile BU. Mr. Fridman earned his MBA from Tel Aviv University and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bar Ilan University.

Eyal Miller - is the Managing Director and CEO of Samsung NEXT Tel Aviv, which offers tailored support to startups at every level, from idea to scale. As an expert in entrepreneurial businesses and corporate development, Eyal specializes in early-stage venture development, strategic initiatives and strategies for scaling startups. He was featured in Business Insider as one of the Most Influential Israelis in Tech Worldwide 2014 and in The Marker Magazine as one of The Most Influential Israelis in Tech 2013. Prior to joining Samsung, Eyal co-founded the Google Campus in Tel Aviv, and served as Head of New Business and Corporate Development for Google Israel and a member of the EMEA Business Development team. He holds his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management and an MBA from Recanati School of Business at Tel Aviv University.
