Carl Filipiak is a multii-award-winning local jazz fusion guitarist, who also plays songs ranging from rock to blues. He even has a wikipedia page in addition to his own website with lots of free music you can listen to. For this event he’ll be playing with his jazz quartet ( sax, bass guitar, drums).

Costa’s ( yes, famous from its original location for its yummy crab cakes and other seafood items), is on the second floor of the Timonium Fairgrounds’ Racetrack Grandstand. Enter from Timonium Road ( by the railroad crossing) for easy free parking and access to the Grandstand. Half price wine bottles tonight! The band starts at 6 pm and if you are running late please send us a message.

For all dog lovers.... let's enjoy breed and agility competitions, lots of dog item vendors and, weather permitting, even an outdoor dog diving contest! The dog show is free, but fairgrounds parking will be $5. Family members (e.g. kids) and friends are welcome to join us--just add guest headcount.

Let's meet at the main entrance to the Cow Palace building (just inside the doors if it is cold or rainy). The day's dog show is actually from 9-5, so you are welcome to get there earlier or later than our meetup's start time; you only need to sign up if you want to meet up with the group at noon so we can sniff out who has the same doggone interests and will want to hit the same locations as a smaller pack.

Food truck/indoor fast food lines may be long, especially around lunchtime, so you may want to eat before coming and/or bring your own water/lunch/snacks.

At the time of this event's posting, exhibitor and vendor registration is still ongoing, so ring assignments and specific competition times haven't been announced yet. Saturday is the busiest day of the show so everyone attending will definitely find some fun things to watch.

Wear your dancing shoes and join us for food and drink as we enjoy Sound Storm's great Motown music. This band is extremely popular, so please sign up ASAP so we can reserve enough seats for our group-- all the tables (and seats) will be spoken for sooner rather than later. Please RSVP out no later than the Thursday night before if you won't be able to join us at our table(s) as originally planned.
