Birmingham Rock Music Fans

Our love of loud music means we don't have a lot of quiet events in the calendar, but sometimes it's nice to actually be able to hear each other speak!

The Flapper is one of Birmingham's most important rock pubs and a trip there is always good. They do sell food if you want to eat while you're with us.

We'll post where to find us once a few of us arrive. Newcomers very welcome! If the weather's good we'll head outside.

It's not often we go to the Sunflower Lounge so let's go and see the brilliant Pearl Charles. Her indie pop sound is a mix of 60s pop and 70s folk rock and disco - I absolutely love it.

AlphaWhores are an alternative rock / metal / fuzz duo from Panama City formed by Massiel Pinzón and Juan Carlos García de Paredes.

These guys toured Europe earlier in 2025, but they’re coming back to the UK in May 2026 and Birmingham is on the list :)

They’re well worth checking out, especially if you’re an Alice in Chains fan.
