Welcome to the Boulder Chess Club! This is a meetup group for anyone in the Boulder area who likes to play chess. People of all skill levels are welcome. Online chess is great, but there is no substitute for meeting new people and playing on a real chess board. Please bring a board, pieces, and a chess clock to meetups if you have them.
In colder months our meetups are held indoors at the CU Boulder University Memorial Center (UMC), and in warmer months we meet outside at beautiful Foothills Community Park in North Boulder. All meetups are on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm.

Our normal meetup location is under construction, so for the next few months we will meet at the Panera Bread at the 29th Street Mall on Wednesday from 6pm to 8:30pm.
There is plenty of mall parking adjacent to Panera.
