En esta sesión veremos cómo integrar el concepto de mutación de pruebas con Sonarqube. Una medida que se suele emplear para medir la efectividad de las pruebas unitarias es el Code Coverage. Sin embargo, no es una medida del todo fiable, el hecho de conocer el número de líneas ejecutadas con las pruebas unitarias no garantiza la calidad de las pruebas. Para complementar esto se emplea el Mutation Testing, se trata de introducir modificaciones en las pruebas, conocidas como mutantes. El objetivo es eliminar a estos ya que cada mutante que sobrevive equivale a una prueba unitaria que no se ha contemplado, un caso que puede dar lugar a un error.
