The 4 components of Flamenco ( song, guitar, dance and rhythm ) traditionally form a conversation, with each artist listening and responding, letting the flow lead them to the breaks and phrases of rhythmic Flamenco time signatures.

This style goes back to the traditions of small gathering and jam sessions in the gypsy barrios of Andalusia.

There will be song / cante solos by the Young Madrileno Singer Alvaro Echanove, who trained in the prestigious Cristina Heeren Foundation. Guitar solos performance by Norwegian guitarist Julian Berg who developed his art in the Netherlands and various flamenco festivals, Berg’s ability of accompanying dance and song sets him apart as a musician. The much in demand percussive solo on Cajon by Cuban Flamenco percussionist Hanser Santos Gomez, who exploded into the flamenco scene in the world class Tambour Festival of Havana.

The traditional dance / baile style of "listening to the song and responding “ from Oakville-Jerez based dancer Kim Macedo brings echoes of the flamenco cradles of Jerez, Moron and Granada to your door.
