Have fun and meet friendly people at our regular contra dance. Usually 7.45 - 10.15 pm second Sunday of each month with live music. Contra dance has some similarities to bush dance and square dance. It is very popular in the USA, Canada and London. The dances consist of interesting patterns, walked to upbeat music. For a good description, look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Contra_dance. All dances are called. Singles and couples are all very welcome. The cost is $12 ($6 for students). If no live music, then the cost is $8 ($4 for students). Cash is preferred.
Before the dance, free instruction is available from 7.15 – 7.45 pm.
