Let's Talk Queer: Drag Slang and Inclusive English with Michelle Hada

This special session marks the official kick-off of the English Conversation Group LGBTQIA+ Mexico City.

Let’s Talk Queer is a fun, welcoming, and low-pressure introduction to practicing English in community, led by drag artist and English coach Michelle Hada. Through drag slang, inclusive language, and real conversation, we’ll explore how English can be expressive, affirming, and practical for everyday life.

This session is designed to set the tone for future meetups: relaxed, inclusive, and focused on communication over perfection. You don’t need advanced English, and you never need to perform or speak if you don’t want to. Listening, laughing, and being present all count.
We’ll talk about queer language and drag slang, explore inclusive English, and ease into conversation together, so everyone leaves feeling more confident and excited to keep practicing English in this space.
