Funny Girl Productions invites you to the original weekly English Stand Up Comedy Showcase in Mexico City: Funny Friends!
Every week, a new lineup of local and visiting comedians will take the mic to make you laugh with their witty observations and funny anecdotes.
And it all happens at Bardo Speakeasy, a new concept located just in the south border of Colonia Condesa. Hidden on the second floor and behind a mirror door, their food and drink menus are filled with bold flavors you will love.

Featuring for this month’s show: Ariana Elena, Saad Haroon, George Rigden
Ariana Elena 🇲🇽 (@arianaelena_) is a comedian born and bred here in Mexico City. She has recently made a push into the world of English stand-up comedy has been met by roars of laughter on every show she has been performed on. She hopes to continue to push and grow in this new comedic direction.
Saad Haroon 🇵🇰 (@saadtheharoon) was awarded 2nd place in the Funniest Person In The World Competition 2014, Saad Haroon is a world renowned Comedian, Writer and Performer. Creator of Pakistans first comedy troupe BlackFish, he has also written five solo shows and performed in prestigious venues all over the world. He created, hosted and was head-writer for ‘The Real News’ Pakistan’s first English language comedy show on television. He was host of the morning show on CityFM 89, making people happy every day on one of the highest rated radio shows in Pakistan!
George Rigden 🇬🇧 (@ridenfunny) hales from ‘across the pond’, George Rigden is one of the most exciting comedy prospects to emerge from the UK in recent years. With his unique brand of interactive musical comedy, described as ‘deliciously dark’ (beyond the joke) with ‘a fine, wretched persona’ (Chortle), He’s performed all over the world, including 5 consecutive Edinburgh fringe festivals & reaching the finals of many prestigious comedy competitions, including the legendary Leicester Mercury comedian of the year (2017.) Outside of comedy, George is in demand as an actor and has also starred in multiple commercials for such major brands as Dos Equis, Xbox & Rice Krispie Squares. He’s also exceptional at talking about himself in the third person.
