Featuring for this month’s show:Rahul Nimmagadda, Sam Borbolla, Bryan Yañez, Stephen Steers

Host: Rahul Nimmagadda hailing from the city of the super-bowl champions of the world, Philadelphia. Rahul has honed his craft across the world, literally. He is truly the international comedians’ international comedian. He has performed in Canada, USA, Mexico, Argentina, Thailand, South Africa, and is only getting started. Catch this young star in your country before he jet-sets.

Sam Borbolla divorced dog dad of 1 who moved to Mexico City 6 years ago and hasn’t looked back since. You can find him every week doing comedy in Spanish and English at one of the most popular comedy clubs in the city (Ciento39). His observational humor paired with his occasional rant and thoughtful crowdwork ensures the audience laugh at themselves by ways of laughing at him, first.

Bryan Yañez is a Mexican, Colombian, Cuban, American No Sabo comedian from Philadelphia, PA. He hosted the premier Open mic at Ortleib’s on N 3rd Street, and the weekly showcase at Milkboy on South St for several years. Taking on influence from the Chicago comedy scene he returned from a trip to debut the “Church: Heckle Mic”. An open mic show that allows the whole audience to heckle each comedian. He exported his talents and enthusiasm to Mexico City in the year of 2023 founding mejijicocity comedy at Hashtag Gallery which has welcomed international comedians from HBO, Showtime, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Comedy Central, Fringe Fest, etc. Drawing from international comedians and local Mexico City comedians, he has been able to produce an artistic space for a meld of comedic performances.

Stephen Steers Storyteller. Word juggler. Dark humor dealer. Born and raised in NYC, now confusing locals abroad with sarcasm and excellent hair. Stephen once appeared in a Beyoncé video, but don’t blink—or you’ll miss the corner of his chin. Known for twisting punchlines and expectations, Stephen serves up sharp wit, sly wordplay, and just the right amount of emotional damage. Think therapy, but with more laughs and less co-pay.

Join Mejijico City at 7pm on April 9th at #Hashtag Gallery location in Condesa. Located at Benjamin Franklin 151-A, close to the Patriotismo metro station. Produced by Bryan Yañez (IG @realjaccychan)
