Hello everyone,

After long time without having face-to-face events and a new team, we are announcing the next meetup in Barcelona!

October’s meetup will be hosted by InnoIT at Attico Verdaguer the 19th of october.

This meetup will be introduced by Martin Vigo and the main topic of the meetup will be a talk about PRIVACY AND SECURITY.

Abstract

IT professionals are not the only ones who need to worry about cybersecurity. Security and privacy are issues that everyone needs to understand.
In today’s digital era, many of our daily activities leave a trail of data about us. This includes credit card transactions, phone records, GPS tracking our positions, talk with our Alexa or Siri device, online activities such as instant messaging, watching videos… and the list is growing.
That amount of personal data is collected, stored, and may be shared with others without your permission.
Martin will tell us about the problems and threats that we all suffer in relation to cyber attacks, impacting our privacy based on real cases.
There are many ways you can improve your privacy and Martin will share with us how he personally takes steps to avoid all these situations and protect personal data.

After that, we will have spare time to discuss about the topic or things in common between the assistants and of course, we will have food & drinks!
