Originally an obscure family-oriented sport near Seattle in the mid 60s, pickleball is now a trending sport across school gym classes, recreational leagues, and competitive tournaments. All ages have found the sport easy-to-learn and lots of fun.

The KC Pickleball Group is for anyone with any interest in the sport of pickleball. No need to have a vast knowledge of the game. Our group welcomes anyone, from beginners who are just learning the game to serious players looking for a challenge. The goal of this group is to have members learn, have fun, socialize, meet new people, and to play pickleball.

Some of our planned future events include:

-Weekly Pickleball Day: where we find a consistent indoor court and time for members to play, socialize, and improve their skills

-KC Pickleball Tournament: where we have an internal group tournament, split into different levels: Beginners, Intermediate, and Expert

-Beginners Clinics: beginners can become comfortable with the game by playing other beginners and learning from more advanced players
...and any other things YOU can think of!

We want to build this community where its members can contribute easily, create a pickup game event whenever they want, and meet others through playing pickleball.
