Desierto de los Leones Free hike

Only heavy rain can stop us!

Are you ready boots?
This time we will hike through La Venta - Ex Convent trail of Desierto de los Leones park.
We will walk through the old garden and monastery, pass ponds and waterfalls and have lunch by the top of the mountain.
This is a loop walk!

Detailed plan:
9:00 - Meeting in front of Little Caesars Pizza Tacubaya
9:15 - Departure from Tacubaya to La Venta
11:00 - Arriving at La Venta
11:10 - Start hiking
13:10 - Lunch by the lake
13:40 - Continue hiking
15:50 - Arriving La Venta and taking train back to the city
17:10 - Arriving to CDMX

**** HOW TO GET THERE and BACK ***
Way to: Tacubaya to Constituyentes 3002, then Carlos Echanove to Autopista Constituyentes y La Venta
Way back: La Venta to Metro Tacubaya

By car: ask a group if someone is driving and can give you a ride.

About 9.3km (expect for full day)
Total elevation: 617m
Please don't come late as the bus and train will NOT wait for you.
Please bring enough water and food for 6 hours.
We do not recommend you to swim at lakes and rivers.
