Philly Salsa & Bachata Meetup Group

The local Ballroom Dance community is celebrating Spring with a Ballroom Dance and Buffet, at the beautiful Stardust Ballroom. Though this is a Latin Dance Meetup, I'm hosting this event for those that enjoy the variety of dance styles at these events, or who want to expand their dance endeavors.
With doors opening at 3:00pm, there will be a guest instructor for the West Coast Swing workshop, and a West Coast Swing Dance off. And the social dance lineup will include Waltz, Foxtrot, WCS, Two-Step, and maybe a Hustle dance thrown in. All this, plus a light buffet for just $20, cash or Venmo. ( there is also a punch card available for the Stardust Ballroom Dance events only, ask for details)
And there is a contest thrown in for all you WCS fans, Anyone can join on the floor. Dance two minutes of West Coast Swing, We will narrow the field down to 5 or 6 couples, They will dance again and be judged by the audience with a private ballot vote. Winning couple will receive 5 free admissions each. Amateurs only. This dance off is just for fun!
Doors open at 3:00pm, the lesson starts at 3:30pm. Plenty of free parking in the well-lit parking lot.

Sometimes when days and dates get changed on the calendar, an opportunity to check out something new arrises, and Friday evening, April 24th will be such a time for those that want to try something new for their dance floor adventures, a Ballroom Dance event, at the Beautiful Stardust Ballroom. Due to some scheduling conflicts, there will be a Friday Night Ballroom Dance event, (most of the Ballroom dance events are held on Sunday afternoons) so this might be the opportunity you've been looking for to check out the Ballroom community and all the varied dances. This event will be from 7:30pm till 10:30pm, with a dance lesson. Cover charge will be $15.00. The Dance lesson will be Waltz, starting at 7:30pm, till around 8:45pm, then open social Ballroom dancing, with Waltz, Foxtrot, Swing, Rhumba, Hustle and perhaps a few other styles. Doors open for this event around 7:00pm.
There will be a light buffet, plenty of free parking, and this is a BYOB event. I'll post more details as I get them, drop me a note if you have any questions.

Feel The Rhythm Of The America's - and do it Stardust Style, on Saturday, April 25th at the beautiful Stardust Ballroom in Bellmawr NJ. As part of the Pan-American Week celebration, come out and hit the dance floor for another great night of Latin Dance.
The night will start with doors opening at 8:00pm, and a Salsa Lesson at 8:30pm with Jessica Becerra, these workshops are a great way to meet and greet lots of new people, so be sure to get there early.
Then the floor opens up for a social dance that goes into the wee hours.
Cover for the night is $20, and this includes the Salsa workshop at 8:30pm. Open Latin Social dancing from 9:30pm till the wee hours, by DJ Ritchie Rumbera spinning the BEST in Salsa, Bachata, and some Merengue and Cha-Cha as well. There will also be a Latin Dance performance by Jessica Becerra and Trio Becerra, so this will be quite a night. We will have our RESERVED tables, look for the signs, and be sure to introduce yourself around. There will be a light buffet, water and soft drinks available for purchase, and this is a BYOB event. Plenty of FREE off-street parking in the well-lit parking lot, just steps from the entrance.
