Meditation Monday's is a monthly meet up in Leeds for like-minded people who have an interest in meditation.

[Chris Walton](https://www.instagram.com/chris.d.walton) and [Dan Conneely](https://www.instagram.com/danielconneelymeditation) welcome anyone with a curiosity in meditation to attend to understand more about what meditation is. Join us for insightful discussion, advice, support & of course, group meditation.

We welcome all levels of meditators, including:

*Total beginners*
Those curious or unsure about meditation who want to find out exactly what it is

*Occasional meditators*
Those who have tried meditation, or who dabble every now and again, who have hit a wall or who want to try and reinvigorate their enthusiasm

*Regular meditators*
Those who consider themselves 'meditators' who would like to share their advice, experiences or explore other's experience and knowledge areas

Meditation Monday's is secular and has no religion or ideology at the heart of its message. Our message is simple - to get as many people interested in (and enjoying!) meditation as possible.

Curious about hypnosis but not sure where to start? This event is designed especially for beginners who want a clear, down-to-earth introduction.
Your hosts, **Chris Walton** and **John Thompson**, will share a little about their backgrounds and then guide you through two simple, complementary approaches:

* **Chris Walton** will introduce *Hypno-CBT*, an accessible blend of mindfulness, cognitive-behavioural tools, and gentle hypnosis that can help with everyday habits, thoughts, and wellbeing.
* **John Thompson** will demonstrate a *conversational style of hypnosis*—showing how ordinary dialogue can naturally shift perspective and create small but meaningful changes.

There’s no jargon, no prior knowledge needed—just demonstrations, stories, and space to ask questions in a relaxed setting.
**Who is this event for?**
This session is a great fit if you:

* Have always been curious about hypnosis but don’t know much about it
* Want simple, practical tools for self-growth and wellbeing
* Enjoy learning in a friendly, supportive environment
