This group is intended to bring together people with an interest in, or curiosity about philosopher and novelist, Ayn Rand (1905 -82), and her revolutionary philosophy known as Objectivism - a philosophy of reality, reason and rational self-interest. Miss Rand's work is rapidly growing in popularity and gaining ever more critical attention in media and academic circles. If you're a fan of Rand's work or would like to discover more about her trend-bucking ideas, please get in touch to meet like-minded individuals at what I hope will become regular events in Reading.
I have been studying Objectivism for over 20 years and run the British Objectivist Society. I'm also a trustee of the Ayn Rand Centre, and work closely with the Ayn Rand Institute. Looking forward to hearing from you.
