Thank you for your interest in visiting the San Mateo Toastmasters Club! We are once again meeting IN PERSON. Are you sick of Zoom? Come visit us and get back to practicing your public speaking skills.
Guests are **WARMLY** welcomed! Our dues are cheap, members are friendly, and our club is a blast!
We meet every Tuesday from 7pm – 9pm at the Burlingame United Methodist Church (1443 Howard Ave Burlingame, CA 94010).
** BORING BOILER PLATE HISTORY **
The San Mateo Toastmasters Club is one of the largest public speaking clubs in the Bay Area. We are a group of over 50 men and women who gather each Tuesday evening in a friendly and supportive environment to practice public speaking. The members' ages range from about 18 to 75 years young. We are part of a worldwide public speaking and leadership organization; Toastmasters International. The Club is open to anyone who shares our members' interest in developing communication and leadership skills and who is willing to support other members' efforts.
No matter what your experience level, we are a group of open-minded, positive, and encouraging individuals who have all come here to improve our speaking skills.
What to bring: Yourself! A pen to write with and an open mind to enjoy the meeting.
