De qué se trata
A meeting of German-language speakers and learners in the SLC area open to all levels of proficiency and fluency. We will try to meet regularly, roughly every two weeks, in the Downtown, University, and Sugar House areas. I would like to keep the meetings informal, but with a focus on learning and improving everyone's speaking abilities and comfort level. Speaking, however, will not be required. If you want to show up and listen in, you're welcome, too. Fluent and native speakers are especially welcome to attend.

Thursday is Pioneer Day, which means some of us have a day off, but others also might have plans for an early weekend. Either way, I wanted to stay on the regular 2-week schedule, so why not sit around and have tasty crepes again?
The Dali Crepes location in South Salt Lake is always a pleasant spot to sit outside in nice weather. The temperatures look hot for Thursday, but the sun is setting a little earlier. They have a covered patio area with tables that can be pushed together to accommodate groups of any size. We have had big turnouts at this location in the past, so it seems to be a favorite venue.
They make both sweet (süẞ) crepes (with fruit, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, and Nutella, etc) and savory (herzhaft) crepes (with prosciutto, turkey, cheese, mushrooms...). They have hot drinks, cold drinks, frappes, teas, and juices.
Parking is easy in the area. Anyone with any level of fluency is welcome to attend. Guests are also welcome. It's open to anyone, but speaking in German as much as possible is encouraged. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me or post a comment below.
