    Course info:
    This course covers plenty of vocabulary and it focuses on the learning and practice of descriptive terms that will take your Spanish speaking to the next level.

    For these level you have to know some of the basics. You can test your level by using our https://www.learonline quiz here. If you get over half of the answers correctly you could qualify for this level. Otherwise try Spanish 1.1, Part 2.

    Course is divided in two parts:

    Part 1 (This course): Topics include:
    * Numbers pronunciation and spelling,
    * Objects names pertaining to an office a home and or a location (from table, to pen through washing machine, printer, stationary and kitchen items).
    * Descriptive terms applied to location: past the post office, two blocks away, etc.

    Part 2: Topics include:
    * Descriptive terms applied to an object's location: to the side of, right next to, near etc. Secondly and most importantly,
    * Uses and differences of the verbs "Ser" and "Estar". Those will be clarified, and you'll feel pretty much more confident on the next level. Lastly, also introduced:
    * Verbs most related to expressing oneself, such as "gustar", "encantar", "querer".

    Content is based on the book: "ELE actual A1".

    This introductory Spanish course is for those of you who have no knowledge of the language yet. You will speak Spanish right from the first class

    Course Information:
    This course covers plenty of vocabulary and it focuses on the learning and practice of descriptive terms that will take your Spanish speaking to the next level.

    Topics include:

    • Speak about prices of items in a store, country's currency.
    • Request and provide information about one's family, civil status, age.
    • Describe a person (physical attributes).
    • Express the existence of something.

    Requirements: This course requires knowledge of the basics equivalent to Level 1, Part 1, including these topics:

    • Meet and greet people, introduce yourself, say goodbye.
    • Ask about and convey nationality, languages, professions, fields of study
    • Learn contact information (address, email address, phone number)

    You can test your level by using our online quiz here. If you get about over 50% of the the answers correctly you could qualify for this level. Otherwise try Level 1, Part 1. Or Level 2.

    Recommended material (Not required): "ELE actual A1" book. Note, the same book is used for 3 full levels.
