Brazilian percussionist **Gabriel Lopes** returns to Zürich for a special weekend of samba with Zurich School of Samba. The weekend opens with a **Pagode / Roda de Samba workshop** on Friday evening, followed by two days of **Samba Enredo workshops** on Saturday and Sunday. Participants will explore the musical language of **Rio de Janeiro samba schools**, playing together in a full bateria and developing groove, listening and ensemble balance. The Saturday and Sunday workshops form a **two day musical progression**, building towards the full energy of playing together in a samba school style bateria. Open to all levels. Welcome to the Winterthur Badminton Meetup! 🏸👊😉🍻 We’re an international group created for badminton fans in and around Winterthur. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! We meet to learn and practice American Sign Language and to grow our familiarity with Deaf culture. Facilitated by hearing folks (with a connection to a professional interpreter) using Deaf-created content. People of all ASL skill levels are welcome! As we learn, we hope to connect more with the Deaf community in Central Ohio. Join us as you're able! Come regularly or just once - whatever you're looking for!
