Hi! Welcome to Thought Experiments in Pubs - Berlin edition, where you get to have deep conversations with people you've never met. The topic will be education. This group is not about being experts in philosophy, it is about *doing* philosophy. Following the success and satisfaction of the group's second meeting two weeks ago, I am pleased to announce the third meetup. For this third meeting, our initial topic of discussion will be, Can an individual human be ambitious, independent and curious in a system designed explicitly for predictability and docility? A bookclub meet-up organized by our member Oana. The Language Café is primarily aimed at people who are struggling with their mental health which can make it hard to go to regular courses. We want to create a safe space for everyone to learn and practise without pressure. Everyone is welcome!
