Sobre nosotros
Come play a VR game in development and be a part of shaping its evolution. Game makers need feedback from players like you! For our in-person meetups, you do not need to have a VR headset of your own! Whether you're new to Virtual Reality or you basically live in the Oasis, your reactions and thoughts are welcome and valued.
For members who do own their own VR headsets, we have periodic virtual meetups in multi-player games like Walkabout Mini Golf. If you're a dev working on a multi-player project, we can give it a play test at one of these virtual meetups.
If you're a VR game dev yourself, you can share your work with other members and get plenty of useful feedback. Join us to schedule an in-person beta night.

Battle of the Rhythm Games @ AudioGraph
Audio Graph Beer Co., 1203 S Olive St, Los Angeles, CA, USTuesday, April 7th, 7 - 9:30pm at AudioGraph Beer Company in DTLA we present another VR Double Feature. Holy Cow! Now it's a Quadruple Feature?!?! This month we present four--count 'em FOUR games--featuring a trio of classic VR rhythm games.
BEAT SABRE
The game that started it all, and continues to dominate the genre, Beat Saber has you slicing through colorful blocks to the beat of the music. Slice in the right direction and dodge oncoming obstacles like walls and bombs. If you've never played, now's your chance!PISTOL WHIP
This on-rails shooter challenges the player to shoot at enemies in time to the music. It's often described as a "John Wick" simulator, thanks to its high-octane rain-of-bullets gameplay. Stylized visuals feature an entire world that thumps to the beat.SYNTH RIDERS
Follow and ride the rails in sync with the beat, hitting notes as they come at you, and feel like you're dancing! All of these games will get you moving, but this one actually has a built-in fitness tracker!BANJAX
Send magic flying discs whizzing through the air to shatter glowing crystals in a dark fantasy world! Take flight on the back of a winged dragon to new worlds where your skills will be put to the test. While BANJAX isn't a rhythm game per se, it has plenty in common with the other games here. For more info and a video of the game in action, visit banjaxvr.com!This is a free in-person event, showcasing one game in development that needs your play testing feedback, and usually one, but this time three fully released games. Even if you've already played the game up for testing, there's always something new to enjoy. You do not need to own your own VR headset to join in the fun. --But if you've got one, bring it!
ARE YOU A VR GAME DEVELOPER?
Hi! I'm David Barlia. My game, Banjax has been in development for four years now. The feedback I've received while play testing at these events has been invaluable in making a polished, fun experience. I invite other XR developers to present their projects too! Don't be shy! --The sooner you let people play, the sooner you can find out what needs work! The AudioGraph Beer Company, is a fabulous microbrewery in downtown LA. Formerly called HiDef Brewing, they name many of their beers after audio engineering terms, like Ambient, Fuzzbox or I'm With The Band. They make some wonderful and unique beers--check out their current offerings: www.audiographbeer.com
