Context:
Data For Good Grenoble (D4GG) is a community which intends to provide data analysis/data science skills for free to help charities and non-profit associations. This meeting will be focused around the analysis of open data provided by the French Répertoire National des Associations. These data contain information about all associations created or modified in France.
Our objective of analysing this data is to help the D4GG community to understand more about the associations that exist and to aid in planning how to engage/assist them in future.

Language:
Les événements se dérouleront en partie en français et en anglais. Dans la mesure du possible, nous ferons de notre mieux pour accueillir les personnes parlant l'une des deux langues.

What are DataInsights events?
Events where a group of us meet to investigate and analyse some data together to work towards a useful output. The aim is to meet some new people, learn some new skills, to contribute to finding insights from the data, and most importantly to have fun! These types of events are sometimes called DataDives/Hackathons/Datathons elsewhere.

Do I need to be really good at analysing data to participate?
All levels of data analysis skills are welcome here. Come with whatever skills and enthusiasm you posses! We also need participants who understand how associations and charities operate in France. :-)
