Music/Jazz Theory Group Class For Singers - Exploring Chords (ONLINE)!

Music Theory class is back on!

We are going to do thematic classes so pick the one you are interested in. I have decided to try lunchtime hours to see if more of you can join :) I also reduced the price to make it more affordable.

I am a firm believer that singers should be musically educated, as that gives us independence, empowers us, and improves our communication with the musicians. Not to mention that you can learn how to write your own songs :)

During these classes we will focus on what you need to be a confident and educated singer, so you can write your own songs, talk to musicians, transpose your songs into appropriate keys, and we're going to practice it all - listening and singing.

This week we are focusing on chords! You will learn all chord symbols, what they represent, how they sound, and their scales. Basic knowledge of notes is required. These are chords we use mostly in Jazz music but can be seen in other genres too.

If you play the piano I am happy to show you how to play these chords too!

What do you need?
A notebook with staff so you can write the notes/chords/etc.
