Taught Life Drawing Class

This is a taught drop-in life class with a tutor. Attendees will be guided through various exercises and techniques in drawing the figure from life.
The class is suitable far all levels, from artists who want to brush up on their skills to those who are just starting off in drawing.
This session is devoted to traditional fine art drawing, with an emphasis on form, structure and anatomy. A variety of poses of various lengths will be explored, with at least one long pose. At the end of the session there will an opportunity for a very informal group critique.
Easels, drawing boards and basic materials will be supplied as well as tea and coffee for the break.
• Cost of the session: €15
• The Tutor: Tadhg McGrath has a degree in Painting from Central St.Martin's College in London, and a Masters in Fine Art from the National College of Art and Design in Dublin, where he teaches drawing and painting occasionally.

That's one of the stranger aspects of a drop-in class. I never know how many people will come! The class before last only had 8 people attend.
Hope it wasn't too tightly packed- I did my best to get around to everyone.

Thanks Elena. I'll give it a go. We are in Edinburgh this week so can't make it tonight. Would have been good to receive some tuition. See you hopefully at a future session.

This is just a drawing class with dry media. I'm not sure but I think some people paint at the long pose classes on Thursdays. You could check with Keith.3 août 2014

The session was just great and Tadhg is an outstanding tutor! My only concern was the number of attendees, much higher than the ones that signed up, ending up to be a little too squeezed.
