De quoi s'agit-il
Hey there! You have stumbled upon the LIMA, the Lyon, FR based meetup group with a friendly and welcoming mix of locals and internationals chatting away in English, French or whatever tickles your fancy and regular events to discover all this magnificient city and the surrounding areas has to offer.
Come see us at our monthly rounds, where you can come and get to know the group in a relaxed atmosphere, or our pool evening. Or why not join us for a cracking concert!
There are plenty of keen urban and rural hikers here too - over the past few years we have blazed a trail across the local hills, as far as the Jura mountains. \
We like to shake things up and go with the seasons with plenty of variation throughout the year. You won't find us at a picnic in the park in December or hitting the ski slopes in July!
There is no membership fee to pay and most of our events are free. Except for the ones where the venue charges an entry where you might have to pay a small amount in advance to ensure and confirm your participation. Our only request is to show some commitment in attending when you RSVP "Yes". Any Event organiser pours in some considerable personal time and efforts in bringing you an awesome event and it helps when we have some real and honest RSVPs that would let us plan the event properly in advance.
We would love to hear your own ideas for some great new meetups and venues - be it a dining experience, arts/theaters/comedies or just simply sitting and chilling by the banks of Rhône or Saône basking some sunshine. Feel free to contact one of the Organising team with your own ideas and we could help to make it happen. \
To join, just make sure you have a decent enough profile picture that shows your pretty face ^.^ (We'd like to see the real person we are going to meet) and add a description to introduce yourself to the rest of the members of the group. Requests with inappropriate and too short/one-worded descriptions are rejected. We would definitely like to know more about you before we meet you in person.
