Want to know what it's like to be the CEO of a company in the European billion-euro biotech club? Ask Edwin! He has been with Ablynx, a biopharma developing Nanobodies, since 2004 and the CEO since 2006. Before this, he had a successful commercial career at Amersham International, Enzymatix, and Raggio-Italgene. I would be here all day listing all the Board memberships Edwin has held, there's a lot.
2. Christian Homsy - CEO, Celyad
Celyad had some big news recently with their CAR-T treatment working for the first time ever on acute myeloid leukemia! It must feel pretty good to be the CEO/ co-founder of one of the leading CAR-T company worldwide, which has the potential of becoming a billion-euro biotech. Before all this, Christian has held some cool positions at Guidant Corporation and even founded the Guidant Institute for Therapy Development.
