À propos de nous
Sunday Assembly Portland is a 501c3 non-profit secular community. We celebrate life.
Our motto: Live Better, Help Often, and Wonder More
We are the Portland Chapter of the international movement called Sunday Assembly. We provide a non-religious alternative where people can come together at monthly assemblies to sing uplifting songs, share inspiring stories, and hear engaging lectures. Between assemblies we have small groups that focus on a wide range of interests as well as volunteer projects in the Portland area. We strive to be radically inclusive, family-friendly, and create a supportive community as we take full advantage of this one life we know we have.
Sunday Assembly Portland is free and everyone is welcome!

HGP First Sunday - Play at Any Age
Remember laughing until your side ached and your face hurt? Take a stroll down memory lane and reawaken that inherent joy. We'll be goofy, play games, and take our silliness seriously for a change. Wear your tie-dye or anything that sparks whimsy, bring your favorite stuffed animals, and give yourself permission to embrace the joy of play! Alesha Weiland has a B.S. in Geography and Environmental Studies from University of Alaska Fairbanks and has worked for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, outdoor education programs across the country, and acted and performed improv in Alaska.
(First Sundays start with 1/2 hour of music, offer daycare, and may run until noon.)

Programs are presented in four broad areas relevant to Humanism:
