During this session, Paul-Arthur Thiéry, Senior Software Developer at Coveo, will share the outcomes of his team's work regarding the migration of Coveo's service front-end. This transition, moving from a template engine-based model to a standalone front-end directly served by a CDN, brings significant benefits in terms of performance, scalability, and maintenance. It notably reduces page loading times and optimizes content distribution, thereby significantly enhancing the developer experience. This presentation will include an in-depth discussion of the motivations behind these changes, concrete examples of the modifications made, challenges encountered, and the solutions implemented to ensure a smooth migration. In conclusion, our speaker will highlight how his team leveraged TypeScript features to enhance code quality and improve the development experience.
