ElasticSearch to search inside video content by Evgeny Bogdanov (http://linkedin.com/in/evgeny-bogdanov-863b1111)

Koemei was a spin-off of Idiap (https://www.idiap.ch/en) with the ambition to make video content searchable by humans. This talk will show how we used ElasticSearch to allow users to search over their video collections as well as to search for keywords inside a single video. You will get to see a demo and some technical details on how it was implemented.

Elasticsearch: a key element of Invenio 3 by Johnny Mariéthoz (https://www.linkedin.com/in/johnny-mariethoz-6a739042/)

Invenio (http://invenio-software.org/) was born at CERN as a digital library software solution to run the CERN document server, managing over 1,000,000 bibliographic records in high-energy physics since 2002. Covering articles, books, journals, photos, videos, and more. It has been recently completely rewritten with Elasticsearch becoming a key element in this new version. Invenio is no longer limited to digital repository functionalities, but can be used for many purposes. This talk will describe how Elasticsearch has been integrated in the new Invenio version.
