Elastic Paris Meetup #80 : 10 years later

Nous avons commencé nos meetups il y a quasiment 10 ans le 15 Janvier 2013, avec la participation exceptionnelle de Shay Banon, le créateur d'Elasticsearch et co-fondateur d'Elastic. A l'occasion de son passage à paris, avec toute l'équipe d'ingénierie, voici l'occasion de nous retrouver pour l'écouter ainsi qu'Adrien Grand, nous parler des développements en cours et du futur d'Elastic.

Shay Banon - Elastic (Chief Technology Officer)

As a founder of Elasticsearch and the CTO of Elastic, I have been fascinated with search ever since I tried to build a recipe app for my wife in 2004, a journey that led to me writing the first few lines of code of Elasticsearch in 2009 and later founding Elastic in 2012. I believe finding beauty and excelling is a combination of perspective and grit. As someone who got into computers by counting the number of job postings in the newspaper, I love building things — a product, a community, or a company — and the process of acquiring the knowledge to do so.

Adrien Grand - Elastic (Tech Lead, Elasticsearch)

Adrien Grand is a Lucene committer at The Apache Software Foundation and a software engineer at Elastic, where he works on improving Elasticsearch. He has worked with Apache Lucene for a decade. When he's not tackling search-related problems from his home in Normandy, France, he enjoys horseback riding.
