Kick-off for 2015!

Hello!

The new year is upon us and after a very busy 2014, I am so ready to make 2015 one to remember for all of the right reasons.

How has all of the networking, presenting your company, presenting yourself, meetings, small talk, large gatherings, and socialising non-stop been going? At least for me, EEEKS was one of the words I had to use for the last several months, until I landed some great opportunities while honouring my introverted (okay, ambi-verted) self. Opportunities which allowed me to work with several CEOs, mostly introverted but a few bona-fide extroverts. Always a great experience to have the mix and see how they manifest some of the key components in running their company: Vision, Leadership and Strategy.

As a result, I have created the time to hold several meet-ups and workshops every month with a theme. The first meeting is just a meet and greet, and the rest of the months will be workshops in communication for personal and professional development. Each part will build on the last so that by the end of the month, you will have trove of effective tools to feel at ease when speaking about your product or service.

As January is the month of new beginnings for the New Year, I invite you to share your Vision for 2015. When sharing this Vision, consider bringing answers to the following questions:

What are my needs in order to make this Vision happen? (hint: use the Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely format. More information here: http://topachievement.com/smart.html ).

What are some of the opportunities I need to have (or create) in order for this Vision to occur?

What are some of the obstacles I am facing at this moment? (besides being introverted, which isn't really an obstacle!)

During the meet-up, for those of you who have the burning desire to really play full-out, we can look at the different ways to achieve this overall vision.
