Let's improv! (⚠️ Address updated ⚠️)

First Meetup ever! Let's get to know each others through little acting games. It will take place in the "Salle Familiale des Fontaines" in the "Petite salle" (close to the Cher river).

Hello there! I'm Nicolas, an improv enthusiast and a language and travel enthusiast. I would like to mix these two passions in building a community practicing theatrical improv but... in English!

So this group is for you if you want a fun activity and you are :

• Or a native English-speakers that want to meet locals who speak English

• Or any person fluent in English that want to keep practicing English

Theatrical improv is an awesome form of theater where no text or story is written in advance. In most cases, the public gives a random theme (a word, a sentence,...) and the performers will improvise a short scene based on it. Various constraints can be added to spice up the game.

I have been practicing improv for a few years, also at a professional level, and I love how it pushes people to work on their imagination and listening skills. And it's incredibly funny! I would love to do that in English!

The idea is to do regular workshops every 2 weeks, starting in September. But first, let's meet for a one-shot workshop on May 13th!
