Welcome to the best kept secret in Paris! A self-serve coworking café-meets-creative-haven where artists, poets, writers, dreamers and thinkers gather for a day of gentle making, focused work, and delicious surprises.

You get all-day access (10am–6pm, no waiters rushing you to leave here...):

🌸a cosy, artsy space with unlimited tea, coffee & yummy French snacks
🌸co-working tables & craft materials made from beautiful, repurposed waste
🌸inspiring DIY prompts, seasonal mini-exhibits, and surprise treats (like blind dates with a book, spontaneous collage kits, or ‘lucky dip’ writing prompts)
🌸company with the coolest, creative crowd in this city

Whether you're finishing a novel, knitting a scarf, writing a poem, making moodboards or simply dreaming quietly over a hot mug, this is a place to refill—not just your cup, but your creative soul.
We call it a salon because it’s not just a café—it’s a low-key circle of creative people who believe in slow inspiration, self-led rituals, and earthy joy. Open to all. Come alone, leave nourished. My friends are here too. No need to perform—just bring your project, or come empty-handed and let the space guide and craft opportunities you.
The space itself is a bit of a hidden gem—spacious, there’s Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor seating, and yes—a proper toilet! Whether you want to sprawl in a sunlit nook, pin things to the wall, or tuck into a brick-lined corner with your headphones, it’s got that cute, imperfect, magical studio energy where anything can happen. Think of it as a quiet, creative clubhouse for grown-ups who still like making a bit of mess - Shakespeare & Co but without the crowds, rules and queues. Games available too.

It is a private, home-based prototype for a cafe launching in Paris soon — by suggested donation of €10-€15 — which helps cover the unlimited access to drinks, food, snacks, furniture that has been purchased and the use of the space, craft materials.

Who is your host?

Hey, I’m Jade 👋 I’ve just moved to Paris from England and started this little café-salon to meet other creative, curious people—writers, artists, crafters, daydreamers, or anyone who just wants a cosy space to work, make, and share quiet inspiration.

A bit about me: I’m a poet and songwriter (you can find my album Algal Bloom on Spotify—it’s all about plant life), and I recently made a show for BBC Radio 3 called Digging for Words. I also write a poetry column for The Observer and was picked as a BBC New Generation Thinker, which basically means I like big ideas and muddy boots. I ditched a career as Arts Commissioning Editor at The Times to start a PhD in poetry, so love anything poetic and artistic. Writing a novel? Tell me about it! Painting a series? I wanna know!

So if you like the idea of drinking endless tea/coffee while you write, sketch, collage or just sit and dream—you’ll probably feel at home here.

I created this space because I wanted to make creative friends, share quiet energy, and build something beautiful and low-key. Bored of working alone in this beautiful city? Come join! 🫖✨

Suggestion for this week's activity.. book vase making / branch hanging decorations. I provide the branches / classic work of literature for us to beautifully remake. Other options too. Drop in anytime, no set time frame, just send a message first :)

(I can open the salon any day! So feel free to DM!)
