🏰 CHÂTEAU D'AMBOISE
Surplombant la Loire, le château d’Amboise fut la résidence des rois de France durant la Renaissance et a une histoire qui remonte à l’Antiquité !
Les remparts du château offrent une vue panoramique sur le Val de Loire, avec une très belle perspective sur la ville, ainsi que le fleuve et ses nombreux paysages qui s’étendent à perte de vue !
A l'extérieur, le magnifique jardin du château se déploie sur plus de 2 hectares avec notamment la terrasse de Naples, imaginée à la fin du XVe siècle, qui a été à l’époque le premier jardin « à l’italienne » du royaume de France!
BONUS : Dans la chapelle St-Hubert, ancien oratoire privé des rois de France, se trouve la sépulture du célèbre peintre Léonard de Vinci !

🏡 CHÂTEAU du CLOS LUCE, dernière demeure de Léonard de Vinci !
En 1516, Léonard de Vinci accepte l’invitation de François Ier et s’installe au Château du Clos Lucé à Amboise où il travaille pour le roi à de nombreux projets. Il apporte de Rome ses carnets et trois de ses œuvres majeures : la Joconde, la Sainte Anne et le Saint Jean Baptiste, conservées aujourd’hui au Louvre. Prolifique et inspiré, il travaille comme ingénieur, architecte et metteur en scène organisant pour la cour des fêtes somptueuses.
Ensemble, découvrons les multiples facettes de ce génie à travers ses ateliers restitués, les maquettes de ses inventions ou encore un spectacle immersif présentant ses 17 chefs-d’œuvre…

Overlooking the Loire River, the Castle of Amboise was the residence of the kings of France during the Renaissance and has a history dating back to Antiquity!
The castle ramparts offer panoramic views of the Loire Valley, with a beautiful view of the city, as well as the river and its many landscapes !
Outside, the magnificent castle garden stretches over more than 2 hectares, including the Naples Terrace, designed at the end of the 15th century, which was the first "Italian-style" garden in the Kingdom of France at the time!
BONUS: In the Chapel of St. Hubert, formerly the private oratory of the kings of France, you'll find the tomb of the famous painter Leonardo da Vinci!

🏡 CASTLE of CLOS LUCE, Leonardo da Vinci's last home!
In 1516, Leonardo da Vinci accepted Francis I's invitation and settled at the Château du Clos Lucé in Amboise, where he worked on numerous projects for the king. He brought his notebooks and three of his major works from Rome: the Mona Lisa, Saint Anne, and Saint John the Baptist, now displayed in the Louvre. Prolific and inspired, he worked as an engineer, architect, and stage director, organizing lavish celebrations for the court.
Together, let's explore the many facets of this genius through his reconstructed workshops, models of his inventions, and an immersive show presenting his 17 masterpieces.
