This group is for everyone, French or English speaking people, people who like French and Francophone culture or who don't know at all French culture but who are interested to discover it!
Here, you can propose and take part in all sorts of meetups related with Francophone culture: movie nights, game nights, concerts, plays, conferences, workshops, exhibitions etc.
So don't be shy and come with us to have fun! :)

🌍 La Nuit des Idées 2025 – Pouvoir agir
La Nuit des Idées, rendez-vous annuel dédié à la libre circulation des idées et des savoirs, se tiendra autour du thème :
« Pouvoir agir : créer, transmettre et valoriser les voix autochtones dans l’art et les musées ».
À Edmonton, rendez-vous le 9 octobre 2025 au Centre des arts visuels de l’Alberta (CAVA) de 18h à 19h30. Entrée gratuite pour tous.
✨ Invitée spéciale : Miriama Bono
Architecte, artiste et commissaire polynésienne, présidente du Festival international du film documentaire océanien, Miriama partagera son expérience et sa vision des musées comme espaces inclusifs valorisant les voix autochtones et favorisant le dialogue interculturel.Venez la rencontrer et échanger sur le thème Pouvoir agir !

The Night of Ideas, an annual event dedicated to the free circulation of ideas and knowledge, takes place under the theme:“Taking action: creating, sharing, and promoting Indigenous voices in art and museums.”
In Edmonton, join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the Visual Arts Centre of Alberta from 6:00–7:30pm. Free for all.✨ Special Guest: Miriama Bono
Polynesian architect, artist, and curator, and President of the International Oceanian Documentary Film Festival, Miriama will share her experience and perspective on how museums can become inclusive spaces that amplify Indigenous voices and foster intercultural dialogue.
