Body being Breathed - Restorative Meditation and Mindful movement.

We will start with a grounding Body Scan practice to help us settle in the body by registering the felt sense of our experience as well as using the breath as a foundation .
Breath and body awareness act as a way of dissolving secondary tension as we let go of habitual breath holding and clamping of the body releasing a fluid calming flow of energy .
We will also unveil a kindly awareness towards ourselves as we use the Body and the Breath as a conduit towards self care and compassion.
I will add some Mindful movement to encourage a sense of flow and relaxation. These movements are similar to the Tai Chi and Qui Gong tradition with the possible influence of some light yoga.
