Writing a robot simulator in python from scratch

Détails

This is a part of a series of robot simulation related events. The final goal is to write a robot simulator in python from scratch. During each event we would discuss the design of our custom simulator and work together on the implementation of its components as well as some of the required math.

Whether you're just starting out with python or looking to sharpen your skills, this project is a practical and friendly way to grow as a developer while building something exciting from the ground up. This is a relaxed, no-pressure event -- you're welcome to participate as much or as little as you like, whether you're coding, collaborating, or just hanging out and observing.

Events would be held at 3 Rue des Pins, Grenoble (5th floor of Arc en Ciel building 3).

During the first event we would see how simulation can help address some of our false intuitions when it comes to the motion of a single tumbling rigid body.

As this is a live coding event, please arrive 30 minutes early if you need help setting up your environment.
