Au programme:
👋 Introduction & Nouveauté HashiCorp par l'animateur du meetup
👀 Talk #1 [FR] (Level 100) : Buy Enterprise vs. Build on CE: A Real Costs Retrospective - Théophile Chevalier, Partner@Lenstra
Uncover the real costs of building and maintaining in-house products on top of open-source tools versus buying enterprise solutions. This retrospective analysis features real companies using Terraform CE / Vault CE at scale instead of Terraform Enterprise / Vault Enterprise. The session provides a data-driven perspective tailored for large enterprises, highlighting key insights to help optimize cost, efficiency, and scalability in your cloud strategy.
👨💻 Talk #2 [FR] (Level 300) : Secure database developer accesses without compromising productivity using HashiCorp Vault - Kevin Andrieux, Devops Engineer@Lenstra
Securing databases from applications to developer accesses has historically relied on shared, long-lived credentials with infrequent rotations. While automated credential rotations reduce the risk of leaks, they often introduce friction for developers who must manually retrieve or refresh their credentials. This talk will demonstrate how to simplify developer access without disrupting workflows, using HashiCorp Vault and consul-template to automate secure discovery and authentication on Dbeaver database client.
🎤 Talk #3 [FR] (Level 200) : PostgreSQL Transparent Data Encryption (with HashiCorp Vault) - Sergio Romera, Senior Manager, Sales Engineer EMEA@EDB
Through our partnership with HashiCorp, our customers can now use HashiCorp Vault as an EDB certified key management solution for managing the EDB Postgres Advanced Server and EDB Postgres Extended Server encryption keys used as a part of its TDE feature to encrypt and decrypt the data stored inside the database.
💬 Echanges & discussions post-event autour d'un buffet sponsorisé par Lenstra.
