- This group is aimed at those with a good sense of humour and a good sense of adventure who like to get out walking in the hills and mountains 🚶🏻♂️🚶🏼♀️ Paddling on the lakes 🚣♀️🏄♂️ or peddling around the countryside and coast 🚴🚴♀️
There are no charges for joining the group, and no charge for the walks, just make sure you have a recognisable picture of yourself for your profile when you apply to join, then come and enjoy ⛰😎

Start Time on the water 09:30 am ⏰. Allow good time to park-up, pump-up and launch on the water! 🚣♀️
Delightful 10 miles round trip on the river Ouse.
Route takes in River Ouse south of York and city centre for picnic lunch/Cafe or pub.
Bring well maintained paddle craft including buoyancy aid, food, water and lots of smiles 😊.You will need a waterways license to paddle an inland waterway.😇
Membership of https://paddleuk.org.uk/ includes this license.
Weather dependent event (low wind and good visibility) for paddlers with experience, a suitable Paddle board, Kayak or Canoe and a Life-Jacket or Buoyancy Aid.If the weather is bad the event will be cancelled and rescheduled possibly for the following weekend.
