This Saturday: Swiss Art For Palestine

We warmly invite you to Swiss Art For Palestine’s inaugural fundraising exhibition, graciously hosted by Halle Nord in Geneva, Switzerland. Marking the initiative’s first event, the exhibition will showcase the works of over 50 Swiss and Swiss-based artists, all in support of the Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund.Join us on Tuesday the 24th of March 2026 from 6 PM onwards for the opening.
The exhibition will then be open from Wednesday to Sunday, from 11 AM to 6 PM (curator: Tania Al Farouki). We will also be unveiling “We Began By Measuring Distance” by Basma Al-Sharif and “Supplication on Alphorn” by Tania Al Farouki in the window-fronted spaces, visible 24/7 from the Passage des Halles de l’île (curator: Elise Lammer).

Nous avons le plaisir de vous inviter à la première exposition caritative de Swiss Art For Palestine, gracieusement accueillie par Halle Nord à Genève. Marquant le premier événement de l’initiative, l’exposition présentera les œuvres de plus de 50 artistes suisses et basé-es en Suisse, tous en soutien au Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund.
Rejoignez-nous pour le vernissage le mardi 24 mars 2026 dès 18 heures.
L’exposition sera ensuite ouverte du mercredi au dimanche, de 11h00 à 18h00 (curatrice: Tania Al Farouki). Nous dévoilerons également “We Began By Measuring Distance” de Basma Al-Sharif et “Supplication on Alphorn” de Tania Al Farouki dans les espaces vitrés, visibles 24/7 depuis le Passage des Halles de l’île (commissaire: Elise Lammer).

Free Salève Hike
Veyrier, Douane, Veyrier, GE, CHFree hikes on the Saleve. Every Sunday
Meeting at 10:00 am at the terminus of bus No 8 at Veyrier-Douane, Route du Pas de l'Echelle 111, 1255 Veyrier (not at Veyrier-Tournettes, 100 metres from the border direction Switzerland, departure of the hike at 10:00 sharp from the meeting point).
Your Guides: A responsible (excursion leader) of the Association Genevoise des Amis du Saleve (AGAS) welcomes you in all weather.
Your Hike: A gradient of 800 metres, 3 hours hike-up. Depending on the route chosen, you will expect a 5 to 8 hours hike.
Your Equipement: Hiking boots (crampons in winter if ice, hat and solar protection lotion in summer), raincoat or umbrella, passport, money, picnic and something to drink as well as good health are indispensable.
