Discovering the Rich Heritage of the Meudon Forest

🥾 🌿 Join us for a beautiful hike in the Meudon forest. We will start by discovering its old hydraulic network built at the end of the 17th century to supply the fountains and basins of Meudon castle (since disappeared). This network was completely abandoned but has since been rehabilitated. It is mainly composed of ponds, channels and bridges. Then we will end our hike with a visit to Hangar Y, another abandoned and rehabilitated site. Built in 1879, it was the former airship construction site, where we can share adrink.

🥾 🌿 Rejoignez-nous pour une magnifique randonnée dans la forêt de Meudon. Nous commencerons par découvrir son ancien réseau hydraulique construit à la fin du XVIIe pour alimenter les fontaines et bassins du château de Meudon (depuis disparu). Ce réseau fût totalement abandonné mais depuis encore réhabilitation. Il est essentiellement composé d’étangs, rigoles et ponts. Puis nous terminerons notre randonnée par la visite du Hangar Y, autre site abandonné et réhabilité. Construit en 1879, il fût l’ancien site de construction de dirigeables, où nous pourrons prendre un verre ensemble.
