Introduction to First Aid

We are hosting a free public "Intro to First Aid" education and skill sharing session. The program will cover the definition of First Aid, distinctions between First Aid vs. other types of care, and inform attendees about formal learning paths that are available to them. The program will then cover some techniques such as choking, chest compressions, and providing pressure to stop bleeding, including interactive hands-on instruction. The program will also demonstrate a First Aid kit as well as common equipment and contents.
